Dasim Music Announces the New Mixtape Paradise Doldrums from J.O.B

Lusaka, Zambia – Dasim Music is thrilled to announce the release of the Latest Mixtape from J.O.B, Paradise Doldrums, available everywhere on 30/03/15.

Paradise Doldrums is the second Mixtape release by Job Mwanamwalye aka J.O.B, it is a 14 track Hiphop Mixtape with strong EdM/Trap influence, raw and explicit lyrics. Produced and engineered at Dasim Music and performed mainly in english it features fellow rappers C.R.I.S.I.S and Bolokiyo on “Get On The Floor” and “Mulyokela” respectively. Paradise doldrums is due for release on 30th March 2016.

J.O.B is a Zambian Rapper/Songwriter and Record Producer well known for his chart topping singles Going Higher, Hallelujah and the catch phrase “Jay Oh Nichikali”, Paradise Doldrums is his second mixtape following the release of the “It’s Just A Mixtape” Mixtape in 2015, it was produced and engineered at Dasim Music the latest record label in Lusaka where J.O.B is currently signed as an artist, producer and as head of A&R.

Hello Fam, its been a while since I updated this blog, so first things first. Happy new year, I hope 2016 will brings you much joy.

There's a lot thats happened since my last post, I don't think we'll continue with Nichikali Friday, we've put out too much content already and as much fun as it might be to flood, we'll have to hold on a bit to that. There's been changes in my management am no longer with BNB management, Bubz is still AWOL and Ongani's in Mozambique having the time of his life from what I see (Good for you man) am being managed by Saeed Simon Banda now, coolest man ever.

Ok most notable is Jobik Dj aka Pepe kale jr's "Kwa George" featuring Birdwhite and myself produced at Oxygen, welcome to the big time bruh. Its smashing through speakers every where you go, Its such a dope track i love it, you can get it here.

We've also dropped two tracks called Ka Last and Awe (Kudodwesha). Ka last is about my conversation with God, because i've always wondered a lot about heaven ..... Is there beer in heaven?
Is there food in heaven? .... Umm can you marry an angel? .... Can you marry in heaven? Well most of these queries  go unanswered, so don't hold your breath. The second is Awe Kudodowesha, a term i've grown to love over the past few months, meaning something good, positive, fun and generally awesome. Say for instance if you burnt through 5 Jameson, a bunch of beers and generally had the time of your life dancing, sing and smoking ndishi muna "Dodowesha". so the song is literally about haters who won't let you dodowesha. Latest collaboration with C.R.I.S.I.S from all the down in Australia, of course its going to be hiphop more on that as we go.

This Nichikali Friday, we drop Ba Pondo Naba Tili, as per our tradition of Nichikali Fridays. Am going through a deeply spiritual phase and a transition of my music. I've had alot of requests from my people in the street and in the hood, they cried for a fusion of my past, present and my future. I know y'all are going to like this one, a song about a hood n*gger, punchline after punchline its real out here. 

The team and I are done with Midas, out anytime next month and great news for you. We are touring Zambia on our Midas Tour and we've started with Lusaka, hope to be in a hood near you soon.

J.O.B to collaborate with C.R.I.S.I.S

 Rapper J.O.B is set to collaborate with hiphop own C.R.I.S.I.S aka Mr Swagger all the way from Australia on a hiphop song called "Wobbly". The two artists have been planning on doing this project for a while now and according to close sources files have been swapped and the project is underway due for release soon. Its good to see seasoned veterans working with what you'd call the new school artists in a bid to do our music industry justice. "I am honoured to work with a legend like Mr Swagger, he is the true definition of a legend" Says J.O.B.
